Project Summary
W.E. Thrive is a grassroots, women- and youth-led climate justice and environmental sustainability initiative that addresses the accelerating threats of climate change, deforestation, and ecosystem degradation—especially in vulnerable and underserved communities In Nairobi Metropolis. Centered on nature-based solutions, local knowledge, and inclusive leadership, the project builds resilience by restoring degraded environments, protecting natural resources, and creating sustainable green livelihoods.
By empowering women and youth as climate leaders, W.E. Thrive fosters a new generation of environmental stewards who are driving meaningful change in their own communities. From planting indigenous trees and protecting riverbanks, to launching green enterprises and championing sustainable practices, the project ensures climate action is community-rooted, inclusive, and regenerative.
